Preschool (3 Years Old)

We want to encourage your child to learn and grow as well as become a successful student in school.  We make frequent trips to our center's library to promote a love for reading, even at this age!  We also continue to work with your child on potty training if needed.

Circle Time

Offers children a time to express their feelings through songs, music, finger plays and movement activities.

Story Time

This is a time for the child to rest and relax while listening to a wonderful tale from the teacher.  The teacher will introduce different parts of the book to the children.  This is a time the child can express how they feel about a book while learning letters and words in the book.

Fine/Gross Motor Skils

Children are encouraged to cut with scissors and write with a variety of materials, as well as rip/tear paper to encourage their fine motor skills growth.  We also encourage children to exercise and dance to stimulate large muscle growth.

Teacher - Initiated Activities

Occurs in a small group setting with a focused theme.  The teacher will encourage the children to participate in an art activity, music/movement activity, or a dictation project (teacher asks the child a question and writes their response to promote phonemic awareness).

Lunch & Naptime

A time to talk with friends and teachers while enjoying a warm and nutritious meal.  We offer a time to rest for this age group so they can relax their bodies and minds.

Math Activities

We work with children to recognize shapes and numbers, as well as practice patterns and measuring/weighing different materials.

Child - Directed Activities

Occurs throughout the day during center and outside time.  This is a great way for children to learn through different sensory experiences as well as form other classmates.

Outdoor Play

Outdoor activity occurs twice a day for this age group so they can burn off extra energy, as well as develop their gross motor skills.

Spanish Language

We teach Spanish to this age group.  We work with children on recognizing shapes, colors, numbers and body parts in Spanish language.
