Only Testey's Child Care, LLC provides the kind of care that focuses on days filled with learning and fun, the key ingredients of our Life Essentials® curriculum. The curriculum focuses on social and emotional character education, as well as physical and cognitive outcomes which are aligned with state preschool learning standards. These standards are based on skills, knowledge and abilities that children achieve through developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.

It is very important to me that I go below the surface and really learn about all children and how they develop as a whole person.

Literacy

Children are constantly learning and increasing their vocabulary.  We encourage this development through singing, reading books, and practicing new words.

Along with identifying shapes, colors, letters, and numbers, we introduce our children to different things in nature, such as plants, animals and the weather.  Our children learn about a multitude of things including their senses and body parts.

Writing

Reading and writing go hand and hand.  Our children practice drawing and coloring through our comprehensive educational material.

Mathematics

A strong mathematical foundation is essential to children's success. Our staff engages children in counting and recognizing shapes and numbers.
